Kate Winston - Board Member. She is a native Tennessean whose adult life has been split between Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA area. Kate is a writer and actor who has performed in both stage and screen productions, appearing in both feature length and short films, as well as co-starring in the YouTube cooking show 2Aprons. Her most recent role was the principal role of “Maggie” in the short film “Twenty Bucks”. In her spare time Kate enjoys volunteering and has worked with community organizations such as Gwinnett Family Promise (GA), Youth Villages, CASA Nashville, Conexion Americas, and Habitat for Humanity. Kate also strongly believes in the Oxford comma.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Bridget Vaughan- President and founder of Film Endowment and the co-founder of Nashville Moviemakers. She is also a member of Women in Film and the Nashville Arts and Business Council. Bridget has been a passionate writer for over 30 years. Her first production was a comedy stage play that was produced in 1992 and again in 2006 & 2007 in Dallas, TX where she took film classes. After relocating to Nashville in 2012 she has produced several short films and in early 2022, she completed the production of her first movie, Spirit’s Revenge. She is currently in development of another movie, which is a romantic comedy. She owns her own production company, BGV Films LLC.
Tommy Barnes - Vice President. Tommy is an actor who also writes and leases screenplays. He has also written and produced numerous short films. He has both acted and worked behind the scenes in a list of movies that include Attica, Against the Wall; The Green Mile, Dreamer: A True Story; Little Chenier; The Expert, The Tommy Scott Show: Still Ramblin’, Gummo, Blue Valley Songbird, Wicked Pursuits, Hannah Montana, Blind, Generational Curses and others. He was previously the president of the Actors in Film and Television (AFTA). He has also directed and edited commercials, industrials and music videos. He is the owner of High Moon International.
Janis Perry - Treasurer. Janis is a native Nashvillian who has spent most of her adult life in west Tennessee (Memphis and Jackson). After 39 years in west Tennessee, Janis returned to her native Nashville where she serves as an Education Specialist for the Tennessee State Library and Archives. Janis served the public schools of Tennessee for 33 years before retiring. Those 33 years of service were spent as a teacher, librarian, assistant principal, and principal. Janis has served on several boards including: Madison County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Friends of Tennessee Libraries (FOTL), and Tennessee State University Alumni Association – Midsouth Region.
Michael Rivera - Secretary. Mike is a videographer, graphic designer and musician. For over 25 years, he has contributed design and video projects to organizations including Saturn Corporation, Centerstone, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art and the Rape and Sexual Abuse Center. His commercial video work has been shown through media buys on local broadcasts. He as worked with the Nashville film community on projects shown at film festivals. Mike hails from Los Angeles. He moved to Nashville in 1997. He enjoys the film genres science fiction, WWII, westerns and most anything taking place in space.
